Time to paint (again)

After a minor setback (out of paint hardner) i decided to paint some parts in 'industrial' paint wich was in my garage available instead of glossy paint. How big can the differance be? And most of the parts are not visable...

Still you can see the difference between the paints! ... Not so happy with the results but at least they are black & mounted!

Fuel tap/filter mount (for the bottom of the fuel tank)

Weld a threaded 'nut' to a plate

After the part cooled down, turn it flat

Use cutting oil!

Et voila, the fuel tap mount is ready!

Test fit for the fuel sender

Top mounting plate, drill a hole size 40mm

Check before using parts. 'QC =/ Good quality!'

But it looks quite well made...

Replaced the nuts & bolts with M5 RVS model

So far so good! Checked with an mulitmeter if the little white part does it job. OK we have + & - contact!
I did drill one hole a bit wrong so i had to fill her out so it would fit. But with a big washer you will hopefully not see it...
i'm a bit sick so working in the garage is not really on my mind. Sorry about that.
