Fuel tap/filter mount (for the bottom of the fuel tank)
Weld a threaded 'nut' to a plate |
After the part cooled down, turn it flat |
Use cutting oil! |
Et voila, the fuel tap mount is ready! |

Test fit for the fuel sender
Top mounting plate, drill a hole size 40mm |
Check before using parts. 'QC =/ Good quality!' |
But it looks quite well made... |
Replaced the nuts & bolts with M5 RVS model |
So far so good! Checked with an mulitmeter if the little white part does it job. OK we have + & - contact! |
I did drill one hole a bit wrong so i had to fill her out so it would fit. But with a big washer you will hopefully not see it...
i'm a bit sick so working in the garage is not really on my mind. Sorry about that.

I chose to extend the tank a bit to the rear so i could take more fuel. |
But still have a very big trunk for a sports car. |
